Hey I’m AC VanRaden,

I grew up in Fargo ND,  graduated from Fargo North in 2009. I met my wife at a campus Ministry ski trip in 2011. It took 3 proposals for a yes. We were married in August of 2014. We have 3 amazing kids Luke, Hadley and Ellie. My hobbies are  hunting, four wheeling, snowmobiling, hiking, camping and shooting( skeet, trap, pistol, rifle, you name it.)

I got started in the insurance industry in February of 2020. Before that I ran a school age childcare program in Hawley MN for 6 almost 7 years. I love working in the insurance industry and I get the opportunity to build relationships all across the US. My real passion is building relationships with people. I love that the Ag and Commercial side of the insurance industry enables me to do that.

I started VanRaden Agency LLC in July of 2023 and quickly added my first employee in January of 2024 and my second one in 2025. I love working with farmers. Whether it be crop, beef or dairy farmers.

Cody Nordquist

I joined VanRaden Agency in early 2024 with a focus on dairy operations and agricultural businesses across the region. I genuinely enjoy getting out to different farms, learning how each operation works, and building real relationships with the producers who keep agriculture moving forward.

What drives me most is watching the ag industry evolve and being able to help farmers protect their operations through those changes. In 2025 I had the opportunity to attend the World Dairy Expo — it was a great way to stay current on where the dairy industry is headed and the conversations shaping it.

I've served in the United States Air Force and the North Dakota Air National Guard for over 13 years. The discipline and commitment to service I developed there shapes how I show up for clients every day.

Outside of work I'm most at home outdoors — ice fishing, hunting, ATV trips, Sturgis, and anything that gets me outside and exploring.

I handle a lot of the day to day operations at VanRaden Agency, working alongside AC and Cody to keep things running smoothly. That includes ACORD forms, underwriter correspondence, vehicle schedules, renewal tracking, and client communication, whatever it takes to keep policies moving along correctly and on time.

I'm also working toward a Business Administration degree right now. It's given me a better understanding of how a small business actually operates behind the scenes, from the finances to the day to day decisions that keep things on track, and a new appreciation for the work that goes into running an agency like ours.

Outside of work, I follow sports, play golf when I can, and spend a lot of time fishing, hunting, and traveling. I grew up in this area, and I like being part of an agency that shows up for the farmers and families we work with, not just at renewal time.
